This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It exists because the Service generates software and recommendations automatically, and the consequences of misuse land on a plant floor.
Treat Generated Output as a draft from a capable junior engineer
Review every screen, calculation and recommendation before anyone acts on it. Test with known data. Confirm units, shift boundaries, reason codes and targets match your plant. The Service shows the assumptions it made after each build; read them. The Service also asks clarifying questions when a request or file is ambiguous; answer them honestly or expect the output to reflect a guess.
Never let Generated Output control equipment or safety
Applications built with the Service are read-and-record tools. Do not connect them to PLCs, robots, presses, conveyors, interlocks, e-stops, alarms or any actuator, and do not use them as the system of record for lock-out/tag-out, permits, confined-space entry, or any safety procedure. Do not use them in medical, food-safety, aerospace, nuclear, defense or hazardous-materials contexts.
Recorded knowledge and constraints are yours
Limits and rules recorded in the Service (for example, "Line 2 cannot run material over 2 mm") are applied by generated applications exactly as written, with the name of the person who wrote them. Keep them accurate, review items copied from another plant before confirming them, and remember that an incorrect rule will be enforced just as faithfully as a correct one.
Prohibited uses
Uploading data you have no right to share, including other companies' confidential information or personal data without consent; attempting to access another customer's workspace; probing, scanning or testing the Service's security without written permission; using the Service to build malware, to infringe intellectual property, to harass, or to violate export controls or sanctions; reselling or white-labeling the Service without an agreement; automated bulk generation intended to circumvent plan limits.

Report security vulnerabilities, abuse or content concerns to info@subassembly.ai. We may suspend accounts while we investigate.
